Timeline
Three phases in one week. Fourteen hours total.
- 1
Brief
2 hWe agree content and scope on a call. Bring business context, one or two contacts, pages and access for review, and what success looks like for this job. That sets the audit boundary before work starts.
- 2
Audit
Days 1–210 hI immerse in the business, systems, and design maturity on the live product. Brand guide, design token coherence, fit for mission, and voice get a full read. I write the report and run the working meetings needed to keep findings grounded.
- 3
Delivery
Same week2 hWe debrief the findings and hand off the documents. You leave with a clear record of what was audited, what to fix or decide next, and how to use the report with your team.
How I work
Client work across agencies, product teams, and in-house systems shows the same failure modes in different shapes. Strength here is getting up to speed fast on a brand, its guide, and what the live site signals.
- Tools built for Dembrandt support the read of the live site. Every judgment is mine.
- Phases and timing are under Timeline. Kickoff lists what to bring to the brief.
- Invoice after delivery. No account, no subscription.
Kickoff / brief
Details for the brief call:
- Your company and business context
- One or two contacts (design, development, optionally product strategy)
- Current design situation and known pain
- Special wishes or constraints
- Pages to audit and access (live URL, login, or screenshots)
- What success looks like for this job
Live URL and the pages that matter. Brand guide if you have one. Behind a login: session, view-only access, or screenshots. Sites that block review access are declined with the reason. robots.txt is honoured.
Who this is for
Agency and consultancy design leads who juggle many client brands, rarely get a usable brand guide, and need a defensible read before a pitch or handoff. Also in-house teams that need an outside view of brand realization, fit, and archetype on the live site. Firms with design challenges, firms raising design maturity, teams that put design first in their software practices, and teams raising or fixing frontend implementation quality. One buyer, expense account, fixed price.
