About Dembrandt
Designer & developer, Finland.
Design audits used to mean opening DevTools, copying hex codes, writing down font stacks, building a spreadsheet of spacing values. I did that for years across client projects. Every handoff, the same questions. Every project, the same manual groundwork.
Dembrandt is the tool I kept wanting to exist. One command. Any live website. A complete set of design tokens. No plugins, no access negotiations, no manual screenshots. If a browser can open it, Dembrandt can extract it.
My background is 15 years in UX and front-end development. The gap between design intent and what actually ships has been the consistent frustration across all of it. Dembrandt addresses that gap at the token level, where it is measurable and enforceable rather than subjective.
The CLI is open source and free. The work continues.
